The Academic Hall of Fame Committee of Stephenville High School is proud to announce the sixth annual induction dinner/ceremony that will take place on Thursday, April 22, in the Stephenville High School cafeteria starting at 6:30 p.m. The Academic Hall of Fame Committee is sponsored by the Stephenville Optimists and partners with SHS PTO board members and SHS faculty board members. At the upcoming dinner, the 2010 Academic Hall of Fame inductees will be honored with a review of their accomplishments at Stephenville High School. Following the dinner, the unveiling of the Academic Hall of Fame showcase will take place in the foyer of Stephenville High School. This year, five inductees will be honored.
They are as follows:
Dr. Ladelle Weatherby Morse, Class of 1996
Colonel Jerry Weldon II (Kenny Weldon), Class of 1981
Mr. Ronald Gene Becker, Class of 1971
Judge Donald R. Jones, Class of 1961
Mr. Fred Crabtree, deceased, SHS retired teacher
The public is invited to attend the dinner/ceremony with the purchase of presale tickets. The meal will be catered barbecue. Presale tickets will be on sale at the Stephenville High School office starting April 5. Tickets are $10 each. Deadline to purchase tickets will be April 19.
