Welcome to Hook Elementary. Our third and fourth grade campus is located in the beautiful town of Stephenville, Texas. When entering the doors of Hook Elementary you are not just entering a school but a place we call home and family. Visitors of our campus instantly feel the excitement and love our wonderful staff has to offer. Every teacher, support staff, custodian, and cafeteria worker is dedicated to ensuring every child is safe, loved, and educated.
As a result of high expectations, Hook Elementary received Exemplary status for the 2008-2009 and 2009-2010 school years, Recognized status in 2007-2008 school year with Gold Performance Commended in Math, Recognized in 2006-2007 with Gold Performance Commended in Writing, and Recognized in 2004-2005 and 2005-2006 school years. These recognitions, as reported by the Texas Education Agency, are due to the hard work of our dedicated Hook staff, supportive parents, and determined students. It is with great pleasure and honor that I serve as the principal of this distinguished campus.

Performing and Visual Arts Camp

Hook Principal, Kathy Haynes Receives Instructional Leadership Award
Kathy Haynes, principal of Hook Elementary, was honored February 28, 2012 with the Jim Boyd Instructional Leadership Award. The award is given annually to recognize the superior accomplishments of educators representing the 50 schools participating in the Effective Schools Project (ESP) at Tarleton State University’s College of Education.
