November 21, 2013 Lesson

Today in class we found equivalent fractions using fraction strips. Please go to the following website….. http://www.abcya.com/fraction_tiles.htm Using the fraction strips website above, allow your child to find the entire list of equivalent for the fractions below. 1. 2/8 2. 3/12 3. 4/12 4. 1/3 5. 2/6 6. 1/5 Next, have your child create and determine equivalent fractions. The student will create three fractions. Finally, using the fraction strip website above determine what fraction/fractions would be equivalent.
