Log into Study Island and complete September 24 Lab.
We had fun with math and science this week! We did an experiment titled- Can you save Fred? Ask your child how they saved him.
In math we are doing fractions. The students had to decide how they could share three pizzas equally with four friends.

Read to Succeed
Today I sent out Read to Succeed Reading Logs. Students can read for fun a total of 6 hours or 360 minutes. Use the Reading Log to record what was read (magazines, books, newspapers, eBooks, etc.) and the minutes spent reading it. When your child has completed the 6 hours, return it to school, and I will submit their name to receive a free Six Flags theme park ticket!!!! Please notice on the Reading Log information, this is reading done in addition to their 20 minutes of reading homework not in conjunction with it. Feel free to email me if you have any questions.

Tomorrow (Friday) we will dismiss at 1:15 for Labor Day Holiday. We will be out on Monday. Classes will resume on Tuesday. Please remember that the doors do not open until 7:30 each morning.
